I utilize an eclectic, co-creative approach with each unique person I encounter. Specialty areas in which I hold advanced training, education, and practice experience include:
Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy (PAT)
Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapist
Trained by various institutions (IPI, InnerTrek, Fluence, Journey Clinical, DoubleBlind, Naropa, and others) didactically and experientially with hours exceeding licensure requirements in Colorado and Oregon (though no formal licensure obtained for PAT in either state)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS Level 2 Trained; Intimacy From The Inside Out (IFIO) Trained
Currently (May 2026) engaged in IFIO special topic (IFS Level 3) on Love, Autism, & ADHD; will be IFS Level 3 trained thereafter
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy
EMDR Certified Therapist since 2022
EMDR Therapy Consultant-In-Training
I engage in ongoing training to keep current on emerging and evolving EMDR protocols and practices, including blending this into other frameworks such as for use in psychedelic-assisted therapy and/or as integrated with other therapeutic modalities such as IFS or Somatic Experiencing practices.
Speaking of...
Somatic Experiencing
Completed Advanced 1 (Year 3) May 2026; Advanced II (Final Module) is scheduled to be completed in Colorado in November
Moving toward becoming a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner through personal sessions, ongoing education, consultations, etc. I engage in ongoing training and also direct consultation and my own somatic therapeutic support to continue building skills and competency in this work.
Special areas of additional niche training that I often integrate with these larger models include:
expressive arts and listening therapy modalities and practices
a variety of leading-edge, neurobiologically-informed, movement- and body-based practices
Play therapy, including modalities such as sandtray and Playful EMDR
Psychodrama, Gestalt, and other experiential modalities
Jungian shadow work, symbolic exploration, dream interpretation
Integration of ritual, as well as spiritual and cultural practices held with reverence and supportive integration in ways you describe as meaningful to you
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Positive Psychology
Both of the totally unrelated EFTs: Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping) as well as Emotionally-Focused Therapy
Anti-oppressive, decolonizing frameworks, as well as adaptations to empirically-supported practices to meet unique constellations of needs across populations, to underpin all work
Advanced ethics, including regular consultation across modalities, identities, skill levels, approaches, etc.
Some particularly specific lived experiences I have specialized training and practice experience supporting people in exploring include:
Attachment-based harm, developmental disruption, and other cascading, compounding experiences that lead to the manifestation of what we might call "clinically significant" complex trauma-related systemic responses
Those living at the intersections of neurodiversity & LGBTQIA2S+-identified
Relational systems of a variety of compositions and structures, including most frequently though by no means limited to:
dyadic romantic partnerships at any stage
ethical and consensual monogamy, polyamory, relationship anarchy
kink, BDSM, tantra, somatic sexuality, power play, identity play
sibling-sibling/caregiver-care receiver relationships of varying sizes and configurations
colleague/team relationships
friend-friend and other relationships where it can be useful to consider different ways of connecting beyond "just" romantic relationships - let's co-create!
People who dissociate significantly, including those who carry the diagnosis of Dissociative Identity Disorder
High-control entity experiences, such as cult recovery and religion deconstruction
Survivors of war, torture, and trafficking, including yet not limited to veterans
People who have experienced sexual trauma, including child sexual abuse and incest
While it is most important to me to understand your unique lived experiences and how you want to be held and witnessed in baring your soul and courageously sharing the ways you move in the world and in relationship to self, other, and the interconnected collective, I also have lived experiences across several of these categories above, which I am happy to share more around if that is important to you to know about me in relation to feeling safe, seen, and supported.
Not necessarily. We can approach things indirectly, build capacity first, or focus on present-day patterns. You are not required to share anything outside of your preferred level of disclosure (though I might get curious about the process of tapping into felt unsafety, fear, concerns, and other hesitancies to share something as they say "if it's in the way it is the way"). I will respect your boundaries and work with you to find what fits.
There also are specific modalities we can engage that do not require you to speak very much at all, whether about your traumatic experiences or otherwise, like Somatic Experiencing.
I will work with you to determine a right-fit pathway forward based on your circle of capacity/range of resiliency, which we also can work together to expand over time so the container within yourself is strong and big enough to hold your the story underpinning your past, present, and future lived experience.
I work through a harm reduction lens, and do not provide medicine or drugs to anyone I am working with. You are required to go through prescribers and other legal acquisition channels for various types of therapeutic support that relate to non-ordinary states.
While I am trained to understand how to support you in your experience, and I will walk beside you in the choices you are making on your own volition with nonjudgment, education and information to share, testing equipment and support, and training that helps me keep you safe and feeling held in this sacred work, I draw firm boundaries around activities that go beyond harm reduction, such as providing substances to anyone or directly recommending/endorsing the use of said substances.
I will always strongly endorse that you consult with proper legal and medical professionals for ensuring your health and wellbeing, safety, as well as support for any testing, titration, or other shifts may need to happen in preparation for a journey, whether moving toward trying to sign up for a clinical trial or beginning to explore personally exploring this expansive realm of healing.
I will work with your existing prescribers and providers to co-create a supportive way for you to explore the paths you seek to explore. I think of a time to expand and connect with your circle of support vs. work in isolation, as that tends to support the safest, most expansive experiences.
