The transformation you seek already lives within the universe carried inside of your Self.
Something in you already knows the way;
I am here to support and sit with you as you remember it.
I support transformation and transmutation across a variety of contexts and catalysts, with relationship as the primary organizing principle of my ethos and approach (to my work, and to most else!).

Upon first glance, pattern-seekers often identify the most apparent throughline of what I offer to be "trauma, trauma, trauma."

Certainly, a golden thread woven within and across most (if not all) invitations I receive is a legacy and lived experience of trauma, whether within an individual person, relationships, organizations, systems, communities, or institutions, . Yet, zooming in a bit more reveals that the wound (from "trauma," a direct transliteration of the Ancient Greek noun τραῦμα) stems from indelible ruptures rippling through relationships -- with Self, other, and/or the broader world.
I maintain an anchor in hope knowing how harm which happens in relationship also has the capacity to be healed in the context of consistent, accepting, trusting, affirming relationships over time. I also trust that, in the spirit of ubuntu ("I am because we are"), this cascades outward to make the world a more compassionate space for all beings. It is my honor to serve as a model and a mirror for what can be possible in the way of reclamation and restoration to support the fullest expression and enjoyment of all that the journey of becoming a person has to offer.

I am willing to work with you in a very "choose your own adventure" approach to the work within what fits, blending and braiding a variety of ancient, empirically-supported, emerging, and/or personally significant practices and approaches. With access to a fuller range of expression and enjoyment of what a life aligned with your values and vision has to offer, expansion across the domains of whole-human wellbeing can support and sustain virtuous cycles rather than vicious ones.
While enduring suffering and harm may, at times, be inevitable and beyond our control, with an expanded range of resiliency, you will emerge courageous to face what comes your way as well as confident in your capacity to weather even the most tempestuous of storms.
I especially appreciate opportunities to co-regulate and iterate to support desired change toward an integrated whole in partnership with:
-
Individuals of all walks of life across all manner of experiences and identities, particularly those who stay committed to curiosity as a guiding principle
-
People in relationship to one another across a diverse array of configurations, including yet not necessarily limited to:
-
Intimate partnerships comprised of any number of participants and spanning any range of identities, bodies, brains, and ways of being
-
Friendships
-
Familial systems, whether blood or chosen/created, whether self-contained or more collective/communal, and whether showing up to do the work in full familial units or in particular subsets such as dyads, triads, etc.
-
Essentially any other relational system where its members are seeking to restore, reconcile, repair, and otherwise work toward navigating relationship with one another differently in some capacity
-
-
Groups
-
Organizations, including administrative entities, teams, frontline staff, and others across the workforce who are positioned to contribute to the context and conditions to co-create cultures of compassion and care
-
Communities, including restorative circle-keeping, conflict resolution, nonviolent communication training, and values exploration
-
Systems and institutions, including engaging policymakers as well as organizing and mobilizing advocates, particularly experiences who are reclaiming previously-minimized or silenced voices and experiences
-
Fellow learners, educators, helpers, healers, hope merchants, creators, changemakers, newsmakers, tender-hearts, seekers, stewards, doers, dreamers, weirdos, visionaries, unabashed authentics, earnest expressers, experiencers, and others with the courage to work outside of the rules and socially-constructed constraints that keep us separate and stuck (even [and especially] when it means leveraging privilege and positionality, risking personal comfort, abandoning ego, and putting one's body and being on the line)

Some particular areas of specialty, strong interest, advanced training, and demonstrated competency across these contexts I hold include:
-
Attachment-based harm, developmental disruption, and other cascading, compounding experiences that lead to the manifestation of what we might call "clinically significant" complex trauma-related responses
-
People who have lived through war, terror, and torture
-
Those living at the intersections of neurodiversity & being LGBTQIA2S+-identified
-
Survivors of trafficking, or any exposure to force, fraud, coercion, and/or the threat thereof
- Those who dissociate significantly, including those who carry the diagnosis of Dissociative Identity Disorder
-
People who have experienced sexual trauma, including child sexual abuse and incest
-
Those who have been subjected to high-control and coercive groups, figures, ideas, or experiences, including supporting cult deprogramming, religious deconstruction, "troubled teen" program attendees, involuntary court-ordered reunification participants, and others harmed by forced compliance under rigid, dogmatic hierarchies
-
Relational systems of a variety of compositions and structures, including most frequently though by no means limited to:
-
romantic partnerships at any stage, whether dyadic or more expansive systems
-
ethical and consensual monogamy, polyamory, non-hierarchical and unconventional structures, relationship anarchy
-
consensual kink, BDSM, impact play, tantra, somatic sexuality, psychedelic sexual exploration, power exchange, identity play
-
caregiver-care receiver relationships of varying sizes and configurations
-
colleague/team relationships across a variety of professional fields and industries
-
friend-friend and other relationships where it can be useful to consider different ways of connecting beyond "just" romantic relationships - let's co-create!

Each experience leads to the formation of its own microcosm as my approach across contexts is holistic, integrative, relational, honest, and embodied based on the unique constellation of needs and hopes and systems and dynamics that underpin the work. I strive to maintain attunement and humility along the path, providing perspective, patience, persistence, playfulness, and presence to help you uncover, unlock, and unleash your inner healing intelligence and expertise of your Self.
Some of what I bring to this work came through formal education. I am fortunate to have had access to lineages of incredible wisdom and expertise from teachers and leaders in modalities and approaches in which I have chosen to pursue training. Depending on where you encounter me, you may see seemingly special titles, a mishmash of letters coming after my name, certificates, and accolades. In doing so, you may hold an appreciation for and/or a sense of security in noticing the slew of acronyms and initialisms that speak to the many modalities and leading-edge approaches I have been extensively trained in, trusting that you will be held with knowledge and care.
I personally possess a love for lifelong learning and continuously seek out new and emerging understandings through research and ongoing education I voluntarily pursue far beyond licensure and certification status requirements based on my own volition, ambition, experience, interests. Perhaps somewhat obviously, by virtue of such pursuits, I do hold reverence for the value of these teachings and a recognition of the importance of understanding and faithfully implementing empirically-supported practices versus holding souls and systems with which I am entrusted based on "just vibes," so to speak. It is my view that it is ethically imperative for me to keep current on that which impacts the work I do and those with whom I do it rather than cling to familiarity or what may have been established based on ever-evolving understandings of ourselves and the world around us.
Having said that, beyond what our protective parts and egos may wish for us to believe, there is a Truth that we truly do not know ourselves as a species all that well, and we are just beginning to understand some of the nuances of individual and collective consciousness. We also know that, historically, certain groups and experiences have been included and considered differently than others, and as someone who works in both academia and clinical research, understand firsthand how distanced only looking at data "on paper" can be as the arbiters of what stories get heard and seen in the spaces where people have the resources and clout it takes to be funded and supported to produce such research and empirical information often have agendas based on funding, priorities, aspirations, and value systems that are not universal and thus do not capture the full range of the experience of humanity, and thus ought not be universalized without keeping a critical lens.
Accordingly, beyond the air of legitimacy and competency that these more "typical" and formal markers signal externally, I am committed to remaining rooted in recognition of the importance of "zooming in and out" between the layers of nuance that shape the stories and dynamics that define our work together. I hold tremendous reverence for the many other ways of knowing, exploring, being, thinking, doing, understanding, experiencing, learning, and relating, striving to embody humility and remain open to ancient and emerging wisdom alike. I am fortunate to be positioned to apply, model, and facilitate ongoing discoveries among other helping and healing professionals to integrate a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, holistic frame across all of the work I do, which is a unique and important element of my own legacy in which I seek to maintain an anchor.
I also engage in and on a rotating basis co-facilitate volunteer and paid peer consultation groups to ensure I am not becoming myopic in my perspective. With permission from participants and partners in change, when I notice myself feeling as if tapping into niche knowledge and/or more expansive expertise could benefit all involved, I will engage in paid case consultation with those who hold strength, lived experience, and various varietals of wisdom and bring together these threads to weave new ways of being with the work that fit for each unique system with which I have the honor to engage.

Much else of what I bring to this work came through living as a human person with a complex set of identities and experiences. I do not show up to this work without firsthand knowledge of navigating a world that has asked me to hold and heal harm I did not choose to carry.

To this point: I maintain a robust team of helping and healing professionals as well as meaningful, supportive connections to maintain my own wellbeing to ensure I arrive to my work as spacious and capacious as I can be. From regular therapy with an IFS Level 3 Therapist, to Somatic Experiencing personal sessions, to yoga and art teachers, to body and energy workers, to mentors representing a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, and supportive people with whom I share reciprocally rewarding, loving relationships are all important parts of how I nurture a fulfilling life such that I am able to provide these offerings.
This all helps create space for me to bring my authentic (decidedly not "blank slate"), earnest, human Self to do this work in the world. I have worked hard to ensure that I have what I need and to set healthy, compassionate boundaries to maintain a vibrant, balanced life and, in doing so, have learned a great deal about how to intentionally bring my own identities and experiences into view to help me join others' healing journeys without merging with their experience. These are some of the many ways I have found over time that my ethos and approach to working in tandem toward transformation are particularly unique and impactful.

When I am not wearing one of the professional hats I wear, I can often be found engaged in things like:
-
Practicing patience and meeting my own perfectionistic parts with compassion through the humbling art of throwing ceramics
-
Listening to, dancing to, singing along to, watching the performance of, and/or (co-)creating music
-
Laughing a lot
-
Plugging into the energy and vibrations of a shared collective experience
-
Enjoying finding a flow state in the process of learning something new (or returning to a previous practice)
-
Going on spontaneous adventures and experiencing awe with çared-for companions who keep me playful, adventurous, energized, and connected
-
Enjoying the embodied experience of being in right relationship with nature
-
Spending time with my beloved animal companions, including my sweet-yet-spicy schnoodle, Jennifer, as well as my wise-yet-silly snake, Aletheia

Through building, nurturing, and being intentional about sustaining these connection points, I have mobilized my own transformations over time to build a rich, expansive, values-aligned, fulfilling life, and I treasure to opportunity to serve as a companion walking alongside you on whatever your own path presents. 🌞

Sometimes it is truly difficult for me to believe that I get to do all of this for a living, so you also will find me writing gratitude lists and sending little love notes and care packages to important figures in my life as it is meaningful to me to express how delighted I am to draw vitality from the circle of support I am so fortunate to be held in and to, in the spirit of reciprocity, pour into these relationships, including that with myself, others, the collective, all beings, and elements found within and across the broader world.

There have certainly been times in my life where both meaning and hope were hard to come by, and I was not sure whether I wanted to exist at all. Yet, somehow something in me held a knowing that something different could exist for me, and I found it within myself to seek support. Perhaps there is a similar something in you that has led you to this page...!
To that point: I have found time and time again that kindred spirits tend to synchronistically converge and commune. That what you seek aligns such that you have landed here on my little largely unadvertised corner of the Internet already bodes well for the myriad possibilities of partnering together toward change, whether in a therapeutic capacity or more on the macro plane of co-creation and transformation. Deep calls to deep; as above, so below.

Let's connect to explore what a shared commitment to supporting expansion in the ways you hope for could look like! 💫
